Introduction:1

My friend’s name is ABC and she is my childhood friend. She lives in the same city

as me and we have studied together in school. Right now my friend is a practicing

advocate and has his own office in the city. One habit that my friend has and which

I want to adopt and develop too is the habit of unique fasting.

This habit of hers is very special and exceptional. The moment I came to know about

it I was instantly impressed and that is one of the reasons I want to be in this pattern

as well. What she does is every day she keeps a unique fast. For example: anger fast,

fast of feeling bad, argument fast, social media fast, Netflix fast and what not.

She stays away from such things to keep herself happy. One day we were together

in a shop and the shopkeeper cheated her. But she smiled and forgave him and did

not get angry at all. When I asked her how she could control her aggression she said

today is my anger fast. That is how I came to know about her practice of these fasts.

Some more reasons why I wish to develop this habit as well is that doing such things

has lots of advantages. It will help me to control my feelings and make my

relationships healthy and happy. I will also save a lot of my time to do productive

things and pursue my hobbies if I decide to stay away from social media for a day.

He habit is useful, meaningful and rewarding in every way.

Update 2021) Describe a habit your friend has and you want to develop – IELTS Speaking Part 2 Free

Introduction:2

No doubt, we easily get impressed by the good habits of others and wish to develop the same attributes, which is not an easy thing to do.

Who your friend is? and What habit he/she has?
Here I am going to describe a good habit of my friend just who keeps the habit of reading for interest in leisure time.

When you noticed this habit?
He has been doing this thing for ages, and now he’s kind of addicted to this pursuit.

And explain why you want to develop this habit?
Reading in free time helps him in many ways. Firstly unlike others, he spent his free time in a productive manner.

Secondly, through reading, he acquires knowledge of different domains, and this is perhaps the reason why he is the most active student in the classroom who always has the answers to the questions asked by the teachers.

Last but not least he is very proficient in English because he mostly read books in English, which helps him to improve his vocabulary. Considering all these factors, I think I should also develop an interest in reading.

I have requested just to help me by lending some books to read as he has a kind of a library at home with hundreds of books, as many of those books being gifted to him by his friends and family members. In fact, he also accompanied me to the local library, where we read some journals and periodicals together.

Conclusion:
I hope this habit will help me to sit and study for long hours, which will ultimately improve my academic performance overall. It is the habit that my friend has, and I, too, wish to develop.

Introduction 4

There is no denying that habits play a pivotal role in our lives. When we develop good habits, we achieve tremendous success. On the other hand, bad habits make us go through a lean patch in our lives.

Being a success-oriented person, I like to acquire the good habits of others.

These days I am following the footsteps of my bosom friend Andrew to improve my fitness.

Andrew used to be a bulky person. However, he has lost tremendous weight by changing his food habits.

What habit does he/she have?

To lose weight, Andrew does intermittent fasting. To do so, he takes all his meals between 9 am to 5 pm. From 5 pm to 9 am, he drinks water only and doesn’t eat any food items.

By adopting this habit, he has brought a paradigm shift in his life.

Although he is thirty years old, he looks as if he is just 21 or 22 years old.

When you noticed this habit?

I noticed this habit of his when we both went for a trip to the hills together. We stayed together for one week. During that time, I had observed him closely and realized that he takes his habit of intermittent fasting very seriously, and due to this initiative, he is a fit person.

And explain why you want to develop this habit?

I want to develop this habit to lose the extra weight I have. I have the aim of becoming a fit person. To achieve my objective, I have tried many times with little success.

Now I would develop this habit to lead my weigh-loss journey towards success.

Conclusion

To conclude, we must always strive hard to embrace the good habits of others.

Introduction:6

Good habits are essential for making success in life. They are beneficial not only to the one who possesses them but also to others as well. A person with good habits makes steady progress in studies, career, personal life, and all. On the other hand, a person with bad habits, however talented he/she is, will one day lose the successes in life.
So today I would like to talk about my best friend, my partner-in-crime, Jyoti. She is a complete person with lots of good habits and that’s why she is the most likable person in our group.
One good habit she has “Early to Bed and Early To Rise. She does study in the morning time because according to her there are fewer distractions in the early morning and no noise so that she can concentrate keenly on her studies. According to her, any kind of task we aim to do can also be done in less time if we do it in the early morning.
I first observed this habit last year when our classmates made a plan to go to the cinema at the late-night then she told me she could not go with us because she has a habit of early to bed so that time, I identified her habit.
I know there are many advantages of waking up early everyday. One who wakes up early in the morning will definitely become a healthy person. Whether we have work or not, if we implement the habit of waking up early in the morning, we can go for walk or do exercises which is obviously a healthy way of starting a day.

I vividly remember last month we got together at a marriage. There were so many mouth-watering dishes. But he didn’t taste a single dish, except for fruit juice. When I asked him about this, he simply said my body is my temple and I don’t want to spoil my body by in taking unhealthy food. His reply made me think about the importance of a healthy body and make me curious about being fit. From that time, I started to take a healthy diet and avoid taking junk food.
