Introduction 1
I was eagerly waiting for my father to receive a prize. The place where I waited was
an annual event of his office. His company had organized a fitness challenge. The
challenge was arranged as a part of the health awareness for the employees and to
help them live a healthy lifestyle.
All of them were supposed to walk, run or cycle for a month. The person who had
the most number of kilometers was going to receive an award. Fortunately, it was
my dad who had won the competition and had the maximum number of kilometers.
Surprisingly, he was not aware that he was going to get a prize.
This was special for me because I wanted my daddy to exercise and he did it
successfully. I was so proud and elated with his achievement. This made him
develop a habit to exercise and take his fitness seriously. It is a rare moment to see P
your parents winning. I was so excited to see the expression on his face when his
name would be announced.
While I was waiting I was feeling restless and impatient. There were butterflies in
my stomach. I was also feeling curious about what could be the prize. The waiting
time appeared very long to me but it was worth the wait. It was an unforgettable
event of my life. My father was rewarded with a treadmill and he uses it regularly
now.
Introduction:2
Well, we are always and excited for something special to happen.
What you waited for?
And here I would like to share my experience when I was really excited about my holidays.
Why was it special?
Well, the thing is that my family plans holidays once a year and we always eagerly wait for these vacations. The fact is that we go on vacations in the group; my uncles, my aunts and my nephews, nieces, and cousins, we all travel together. This thing really makes the holiday fun and enjoyable.
Unfortunately, approximately six months ago, when we planned our holiday, my grandmother suddenly fell sick. She had to be hospitalized, and we had to be available for her care.
Although we were a little disappointed, of course, our grandma’s health was more important. Well, after few months she got perfectly fine and once again we planned the holidays.
Explain how you felt when you were waiting?
This time we were even more excited. In fact, we had made all the arrangements to go for the vacations, and this time to search for corona cases; the state forced lockdown, and once again, we couldn’t travel. We had really frustrated, but we really couldn’t do anything about it.
Conclusion:
Finally, last month when corona restrictions were eased, we were keeping our fingers crossed because this time, we didn’t want the vacations to get canceled.

- Once the rules were relaxed, we all started preparing for the great day.
- My father booked a marriage palace for the great event.

Introduction 5
There is no denying this conviction that special occasions add colours to our life. Recently I had a special occasion for which I had been waiting for a very long time.
What you waited for?
I waited for the arrival of my elder brother. He was studying in Canada.
Why was it special?
The wait was special because I was about to meet him after a long gap of four years. There is a gap of seven years in our age. In childhood, we used to play together.
Being my elder brother, he is more of a father figure to me. When he used to stay with us, he would handle all my conflicts adroitly. During his departure, he told me that he would come back after two years, however, due to the corona pandemic, he couldn’t come.
In his absence, I missed him every day. and when the corona pandemic was spreading at a rapid pace, I lost the hope of meeting him.
One fine day he had called me and told me that he would come back after 15 days. After listening to his words, I was in a state of euphoria.
And explain how you felt when you were waiting?
Although the waiting period was of just 15 days, it seemed as if they were 15 months. Every day I used to plan for the things I would do after his arrival.
The last five days were difficult for me to spend. I was so excited to meet him, that I used t sleep for just 2-3 hours.
Conclusion:
When my brother finally arrived, I had a sigh of relief.
Introduction 6
Waiting is not always easy as it seems, but when it comes to something special, patience is a must. I have waited many times for different things, but here i would like to talk about a time when i had to wait for something special When I was in 11th standard, all my school friends had bikes, but I didn’t. (for boys bike, for girls Activa/scooty anything) I insisted my father to buy a new Bike for me because I needed it. I had to go to my school by auto-rickshaw or sometimes with my friends. My father is an employee in a small company. Where he does not get much salary. My father loves me very much He agreed to get me the bike on one condition. He told me that if you want a Bike now, then I will buy an old one for you because I do not have enough money to purchase a new one. But if you could wait for 6 months till the Diwali festival then I will buy a new bike for you. Because I will get a bonus from the company. So I decided to wait for six months. It was a very difficult period for me. Sometimes I went to school on foot and sometimes with my friends on their bikes. But Somehow I managed my daily school visit. So finally the day came when my father gave me a surprise by buying a new Bike for me on Diwali. I was very happy to see the brand-new bike. It was a wonderful mat gray color Honda bike. It was very special for me and my family because it was the first vehicle which we bought from the showroom. The next day I went to my school on my new bike, everyone congratulated me. So this was the time when my 6 months wait and patience got me a new favorite vehicle.
Introduction 7
This is a famous quote everything happens on time. Waiting is always unpleasant but we cannot avoid it. Sometimes we are to wait even we do not want to.
I have waited many times for different things, but here I would like to talk about a time when I had to wait for something special When I was in 12th standard, There was this one time I had to wait for my friends, which was so special.
It was my birthday and I had invited a group of friends to a coffee house to celebrate it. We were scheduled to meet there at 8 that evening. I was so eager that I came early. Certainly, none of them were there, but it was easy to understand because I was early. However, I waited for half an hour, but nobody showed up, and then I started to feel uncomfortable and worried. As I was losing my patience, I began to call each of them to ask why they had not come yet. To my surprise, none of them picked up the phone. I was really fed up, as you can imagine because it was my birthday and my friends had treated me like that.
I waited for a couple more minutes until I couldn’t stand it anymore, and decided to leave. As soon as I called the waiter for the bill, I heard the “Happy birthday” song start-up in the coffee house. Out of nowhere, all of my friends suddenly appeared with a birthday cake. They hugged me and wished me a happy birthday. It was such a surprise. My anger quickly gave way to laughter and we had an unforgettable night chatting until the early hours, drinking coffee, and, of course, eating cake.
